AFTER FURLOUGH AND BACK TO WORK

The last two months...

Have been filled with planning, script translation, making props, acting, filming and everything else you can imagine in a production studio. As all these have been taking place we have been filled with joy and excitement seeing an 8 years dream come to its fulfillment.

We can never be thankful enough to God for allowing the people making 'Wewe Nami' to be at Pamoja at the same time at a time like this.

Angela is the assistant director and stand by puppeteer, and Lucy the Host 'Shangazi'  The Big Puppet is 'Mwanangu'.

SHUKRANI

Many many thanks to you all, even though they come a month late.

Our one month of furlough was beyond what we could have imagined.  We visited Churches, met up with many pastors, church leaders, different individuals not forgetting our friends and family.

Our message was short and clear, that it is time for the Kenyan church to send out missionaries. We really were blessed by the fellowship of believers, their prayers and financial support that we received.

So for all of you that made this trip a success and continue to support us in prayer and finances, may the good Lord bless you and add more into your barn, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.

THE TELEVISION SERIES
As we have informed you, the filming of  'Wewe Nami' has began. This is the Children Tv series that we are all excited about. It has 26 episodes all to be filmed within the year, so we kindly ask you for your prayers that it becomes a program that will transform many as the light of God's word enters their hearts.

We have you all in our hearts and in our prayers.
We send our greeting to all.

OCTOBER 2014

Greetings in Jesus' name!

This time we thought it best to take you on a tour to our home and work. Pamoja Ministries is a home and work place for Missionaries from different parts of the world, who have joined together (Pamoja) to bring forth the best they can according to the measure given by God to Disciple Cultures through Media!

Someone said that " If you want to walk fast walk alone, but if you want to go far walk together"! There's power in a personal mission, but there's so much effectiveness, growth and achievement that's uniquely authentic when people from different cultures, lifestyles, perspectives, social back grounds who are Christians work together towards a common goal that's bigger than themselves.

It's not just a noble thing to do, nor an obligation but it's a call to live the faith, reaching out with deeds  that derive from the power of God. It's stepping out to an area that's dominated by secular events, where values and true identity are shunned off and yet this is where our current and future generations are constantly feeding from. Media has become an amazingly effective pathway for all sorts of information. At Pamoja Ministries we are humbled to become salt to the earth, shine the best we can as we tread on these tough  grounds with your support and spread the good news of Jesus through Media.

We are the first African long term
missionaries to Pamoja Ministries, and we are so happy and humbled for the opportunity to reach out with the gospel. We are not better than any one else, hence the Great Commission in Matthew 28:

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

The same is true for all the Missionaries at Pamoja, the body of Christ is what we are and remember without any of its members its functionality is very limited!

As part of the tour, here are the names of our fellow Pamoja miss
ionaries; some of them are in our photos:

All Reasons to be Thankful..... See you soon!!

A new year it is!

All reasons to be thankful...... !!!
Just like it is wonderful to behold a beautiful sunrise so it is a wonderful thing to make another step into the future. We can never be thankful enough. The Lord has seen us through the first six months in the mission field. And now we are in the new year!! We look forward with expectation to see what the Lord intends to do in us as far as our growth is concerned and through us for His glory alone.

Just as we were closing down last year, Angela and myself received what we would say 'from the Lord' two brand new laptop computers. We can not explain clearly who was responsible but we can clearly say that the Lord is thinking very good thoughts for us.

We believe that our ministry and the projects that we do here can not excel without a direct involvement with the Body of Christ. This is the great commission and with you partnering with us, we are able to fulfill it.

At this very moment, your prayers and financial support are preparing a big platform where the whole of E.Africa and Africa at large will be reached with the gospel in form of Christian TV programs and literature..not forgetting that we are right now working on a TV children Series based on the character of Joseph in the Old Testament ... and our main lesson being, to educate children on how to read and express their emotions in a way that will glorify God as well as enable them to live in good relations with other people.

....See you soon!!
We have decide and agreed with Pamoja Ministries that we will be visiting our home country at least twice in a year. We do not want you to forget all about us, and we think that this way you'll be able to receive a first hand report of our progress individually and in ministry. This is also because we are still no where near our proposed budget. We still need many more partners to keep us living and working here efficiently.

Hopefully we will get to visit all of you and your churches in March. WE haven't set out a date yet, but we will let you know as soon as we have that figured out.

We love you and appreciate you very much. You are also in our prayers. May God Bless You!

Yours in Christ,
Lucy.
